I hate the mixer,the drums are in front of the singer and guitar.very distracting.
I can see a Lee and crystal concert in the future.similer playing styles.very diferent lirics.would be a great show kind of like a James Taylor,Carol King type show.

@wulirecordsmusic - Lee is amazing and I am surprised to learn that he already has had 2 albums released. Question: For some reason I was under the impression that having already had a record deal disqualifies from Idol, or, is it acceptable as long as the artist is not under contract?

this is an advantage for lee...he was able to get access to decent studio recordings and video shooting...2 albums already??...crystal has had neither, her recordings are all scratchy and raw...i thought lee needed american idol more than crystal but now i think otherwise...but i guess lee will win at this point...he's been shoved down our throats so why not swallow him already...

@KimmyGibson As long as they aren't currently under contract they can be on the show. I remember a few years one of the producers or something said that if Beyonce lost her contract she would be able to compete on the show.
